Parties with a Purpose are a fun way for hosts and guests to support the San Luis Obispo Symphony! Since all costs associated with the events are generously covered by the party hosts, every ticket you buy puts your dollars to work supporting the mission of the Symphony!

We’re doing it again! Last year’s musician Party With a Purpose was so successful that we have planned a sequel. Make sure to join us this summer and party like a member of the SLO Symphony and spend an enjoyable evening among musicians and friends in the Johnson/Vredevoe’s garden in Arroyo Grande.
Indulge in a casual BBQ dinner spread and libations curated from musician’s wine cellars and beer fridges, all while enjoying the personalities and talents of the members of your favorite band. Unlike a normal musician’s party, we’ll take the instruments out of the trunk and keep the music going! Scheduled performers include the John Astaire Piano Trio, The Seashore Trio, The Acero Brass and more.
So, join us Friday, July 31st, for an evening of tasty food, fine drink, great music, and eclectic company at this now annual event. We stand by our guarantee that this party delivers the highest ratio of musicians to guests and provides the opportunity to look up at the stage and say, “Hey, I’ve partied with those folks!”

Wings & Strings invites you to an exclusive evening at ACI Jet’s stunning facility at the San Luis Obispo Airport, where luxury and artistry come together in perfect harmony. Enjoy fine local wines, light gourmet bites, and a private performance by musicians of the San Luis Obispo Symphony, all set against the backdrop of some of the most beautiful aircraft in the sky. You’ll also be treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of ACI Jet’s operations, including their repair shop, fueling center, and immaculate hangar—offering a rare, insider look at the world of high-end private aviation. Only 24 guests will attend this unforgettable event. Proceeds benefit the San Luis Obispo Symphony’s performances and education programs, helping us keep music alive and accessible throughout our community.
